DBS RequiredWe are looking for a skilled and adaptable Multi-Trade Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of practical trade skills and the ability to deliver high-quality maintenance, repair, and refurbishment work across a variety of environments. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, strong communication, and a commitment to excellent workmanship.
This role involves carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across the UK, primarily for clients within the care and retail sectors. Experience in these fast-paced environments is advantageous but not essential. All operatives must be confident using technology; a company phone and full software training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and building fabric works.
Deliver high-quality multi-trade repairs with a professional finish.
Fit kitchens, bathrooms, and complete small-scale refurbishment tasks.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to ensure excellent service.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to all health & safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong trade background in one or more of the following: plumbing, joinery, painting, and patch plastering.
Ability to complete high-quality kitchens and bathroom installations.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant trade or multi-trade role.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to maintain and care for tools and equipment.
Experience supervising others is an advantage.
Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and staying away when required.
Strong problem-solving skills with a “right first time” attitude.
Professional appearance and confident dealing with a variety of clients.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Engineer to join our growing team. This is a nationwide role requiring regular travel and working away from home to support projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out passive fire protection installations, inspections, and remedial works while ensuring compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of passive fire protection systems.
Fire stopping and compartmentation works.
Conducting surveys and identifying remedial actions.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant fire safety regulations and standards.
Completing site reports and documentation accurately.
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site management.
Working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience within passive fire protection.
Knowledge of fire stopping and compartmentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home when required.
Relevant industry qualifications and certifications are desirable but not essential.

Fire Door & Fire Stopping Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Door & Fire Stopping Engineer to join our growing
passive fire protection team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation,
inspection, maintenance, and remediation of fire doors and fire stopping systems in
accordance with relevant UK fire safety standards.
This role involves working across commercial, residential, and public sector properties,
ensuring all work complies with current fire safety legislation and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, and remediation of fire-rated door sets and door
components
Carrying out fire door inspections and surveys
Installation of passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping and
penetration sealing
Working with systems such as:
o Fire batt and mastic systems
o Fire collars and wraps
o Intumescent seal systems
o Linear joint seals
Completing compartmentation works to maintain fire resistance
Ensuring all work complies with BS 8214, BS 476, and relevant UK fire safety
standards
Accurately completing job reports, inspection records, and photographic evidence
Working closely with site managers, clients, and other trades
Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance
Identifying and reporting additional fire safety issues where necessary
Requirements
Proven experience working with fire doors and/or fire stopping systems
Knowledge of passive fire protection principles
Familiarity with UK standards including BS 8214 and BM TRADA / FIRAS
guidelines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
FIRAS, BM TRADA, FIREQUAL or IFC certification
Experience carrying out fire door inspections
Asbestos awareness
